Big Spring, TX - Moran Man Killed in Freightliner Crash on TX-350

Big Spring, TX (July 4, 2023) - One person was killed and another injured following a crash involving a Freightliner commercial truck in Big Spring on Friday, June 30. 

The deadly accident occurred on TX-350 as a 2006 Freightliner Truck with a trailer headed northbound on the highway. The truck driver drifted into oncoming traffic and collided with a southbound 2019 Ford F-150 pickup truck driven by a 22-year-old Moran man. 

The driver of the pickup suffered fatal injuries in the collision. A second victim was taken to Scenic Mountain Medical Center for treatment. 

No additional information has been provided at this time. 

An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is in progress.
