Austin, TX - One Killed in Semi-Crash with Pickup Truck on I-35

Austin, TX (December 11, 2023) - On Saturday, December 9, one person was killed after a two-vehicle collision in the Austin area. The deadly accident was reported at the 8200 block of Interstate 35 NB near US-183 at around 5:50 a.m. Local reports indicated that an 18-wheeler collided with a pickup truck at the scene. An adult victim suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. 

The area was temporarily closed while emergency crews were present. Tow trucks were required to clear the site of the resulting injuries. No further updates on the deadly accident have been provided at this time.
