Austin, TX (February 29, 2024)—A three-alarm fire in Austin on Wednesday afternoon, February 29, injured one firefighter. The incident occurred at the Casulo Hotel in the 2900 block of Interstate 35 southbound at around 2 p.m. The three-story building was on fire, initially reported as a two-alarm fire but soon escalated to a three-alarm fire.
The building later collapsed due to the blaze. One firefighter at the scene suffered injuries. Emergency responders were on-site to provide aid to the involved parties.
