Abilene, TX (February 23, 2024) - On Thursday, February 22, there were reported injuries after a crash involving a cyclist and a motor vehicle in Abilene. The accident occurred at the crossing of Texas Avenue and Dub Wright Boulevard late that evening. Emergency crews were quickly dispatched to render aid to the involved parties. 

One person from the scene was transported to a local hospital by ambulance. The area was restricted to outside traffic as emergency units were present. At this time, the circumstances leading to the collision have not been determined.
