Rasansky | McKenzie Law was hired by the son of an elderly woman who died while under the care of a Texas nursing home. During our investigation, it was discovered that the victim had died as a result of sepsis due to septic shock caused by intestinal obstruction.

Although the obstruction had been diagnosed by a doctor at the nursing home, the staff failed to transfer the victim to the hospital in a reasonable time, resulting in her untimely death.
