Houston, TX - Injuries in Multi-Vehicle Crash at I-10 & Wilcrest Dr

Houston, TX (March 23, 2024) - A serious collision in the Houston area left multiple people with injuries on Friday, March 22. The accident was reported on Interstate 10 near Wilcrest Drive early that morning at around 10:06 a.m. Local sources indicated that a total of 11 vehicles collided at the scene. 

Emergency crews were dispatched to the scene after being notified of a car fire. It was later revealed that at least one person was trapped inside a vehicle, and an 18-wheeler was involved in the accident. The circumstances leading to the crash have not been determined. The area was closed for several hours while emergency crews were present to clear the scene. The injured parties requiring further treatment were transported to Memorial Hermann in Katy by ambulance. No further information on the accident is currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is in the hands of local law enforcement officials.
