San Antonio, TX - Critical Injuries in DUI Accident on Bulverde Rd

San Antonio, TX (March 17, 2024) - There were critical injuries reported after a crash involving an alleged drunk driver in San Antonio on Friday, March 15. The accident took place at the 14100 block of Bulverde Road late that night at around 10:30 p.m. Local reports revealed that the driver of a Nissan was traveling northbound on the roadway when it crossed the median and collided head-on with an oncoming Chevrolet. 

A passenger in the Chevy, a 33-year-old woman, was transported to a local hospital in critical condition. No updates on the condition of the Chevy driver have been provided. The driver of the Nissan, later identified as 66-year-old Truman Freeman, reportedly had a blood alcohol content level above the legal limit. He is currently facing charges, including suspicion of driving while intoxicated. Local law enforcement officials are handling an ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident.
