The Bronco overturned and burst into flames as a result of the impact. The driver exited the vehicle and took off on foot without rendering aid to the other parties. The crash caused the Hyundai to hit a concrete barrier and rolled over. 

The woman driving the Santa Cruz was rescued by emergency personnel and transported to a local hospital. Unfortunately, she was later pronounced dead. A passenger in the vehicle was also extricated and hospitalized. The deceased party was later identified as 76-year-old Eden Nuval of Anaheim, CA. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the deadly accident is being handled by local law enforcement officials.
