Fort Worth, TX - Two Firefighters Hurt in Fire Truck Rollover on Pecos St

Fort Worth, TX (February 8, 2024) - On Tuesday, February 6, two firefighters were injured after a rollover crash in the Fort Worth area. The accident was reported at the 4500 block of Pecos Road. The victims were on board a fire truck headed to assist with a fire when the vehicle toppled over. 

Four firefighters were inside the fire truck, and two were trapped inside. Both were transported to a hospital for treatment of sustained injuries. One of the victims was later released, but the other remained in critical condition. At this time, the conditions leading to the crash have not been determined. No further information on the accident is currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the collision is being handled by local law enforcement officials.
