The victim was hit by a westbound 2015 Freightliner truck. Emergency crews were dispatched to render aid to the involved parties, and the area was temporarily closed. The injured party suffered fatal injuries and was later pronounced dead.
The deceased party was later identified as 51-year-old Sherman Daniel Stewart of Flagstaff, Arizona. No other injuries were reported in the collision.
