Spring, TX - Woman Killed, Several Injured in Multi-Vehicle Crash on FM 2920

Spring, TX (January 9, 2024) - A woman was killed and several others were hurt following a pileup collision in the Spring area on Monday, January 8. The deadly crash took place at the 3050 block of Farm to Market Road 2920 near Covington Bridge Drive. Six vehicles reportedly collided at the scene. 

Local reports revealed that an 18-wheeler was headed westbound when it veered to avoid a crash on the roadway. The vehicle jumped the median where it hit a woman head-on. The woman suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. Several other people were hurt in the crash, but no updates on their conditions have been provided at this time. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the deadly crash is in the hands of local law enforcement officials.
