The driver of the Ford, 21-year-old Juan Flores Jr., suffered fatal injuries in the impact. The driver of the Chevy was hospitalized for treatment of sustained injuries. No additional information has been provided at this time. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the deadly accident is in progress.

The fatal crash occurred at the crash site near the intersection of Interstate 40 and S. Lakeside Drive at around 10:50 p.m. Local reports revealed that a black Ford Mustang, a green Chevrolet Camaro, and a semi-truck were involved in the collision.
