The accident took place on Interstate 35 and was reported at around 6:54 p.m. A Dodge truck was speeding on the highway when the driver crashed into another vehicle. The impact caused the other car to be crushed by an 18-wheeler, and the Dodge ultimately ended up on top of the other vehicle. 

The area was completely shut down as a result of the crash, and emergency responders were rushed to the scene. A 6-year-old child was reportedly trapped inside the vehicle, and she was transported to a local hospital in critical condition. 

The driver of the Dodge was taken into custody and is currently facing charges related to intoxicated assault. No additional information has been provided at this time. 

An ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is in the hands of local law enforcement officials.
