Houston, TX - Truck Driver Fatally Struck on I-45 near FM 1960

Houston, TX (April 22, 2023) - On Thursday, April 20, a truck driver was killed after being hit by a motor vehicle in the Houston area. 

The deadly accident was reported on Interstate 45 near Farm to Market Road 1960 at around 9:14 a.m. An 18-wheeler was reportedly parked on the side of the highway, and the trucker was loading equipment from Public Storage. The driver was hit by an oncoming vehicle. 

The truckers sustained fatal injuries in the crash. The other driver was also injured and transported to a local hospital. No additional information has been provided at this time. 

An ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is in progress.
