Channelview, TX – Fire Incident on Wood Dr Claims One Life

Channelview, TX (January 12, 2021) – A fire incident reported in the Channelview area claimed one man’s life while leaving a second victim injured. At approximately 6:50 p.m., on January 11, the Harris County Fire Marshal’s Office responded to the site of a fire incident on Wood Drive.

Reports from authorities show that a fire occurred inside a travel trailer located in the 16500 block of the roadway. A man and woman were inside the trailer at the time of the incident.

Both victims were removed by firefighters and rushed to an area hospital. The man succumbed to his injuries after arriving. The woman remains in serious condition. At this time, the incident remains under investigation with the Harris County Fire Marshal’s Office.
