Nacogdoches, TX – Pedestrian Fatally Struck by Vehicle on South St

Nacogdoches, TX (January 7, 2021) – A pedestrian has lost their life following a motor vehicle accident on Wednesday evening in the Nacogdoches area, according to police. At approximately 10:45 p.m., on January 6, the police in Nacogdoches assisted medical personnel at the site of a crash on South Street.

Reports from authorities show that a pedestrian was struck by a northbound vehicle on South Street during the evening hours. The pedestrian sustained fatal injuries as a result of the accident. Upon arriving at the scene of the accident, emergency crews pronounced the victim deceased.

At this time, the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
