Reports from authorities show that just before 2 a.m., Kaylee Harthan was traveling east in the 8100 block of Spring Cypress Road, near the intersection with Glen Haven Estates Drive, when her 2003 Ford Camry collided with a white 2003 Toyota Sequoia, which was driven by Jose Lopez.
Harthan sustained fatal injuries in the accident. Emergency crews arrived at the scene of the crash and pronounced the woman deceased. Lopez, a female passenger, and three children were all transported to an area hospital for the treatment of undisclosed injuries. At this time, the crash remains under investigation.
