Houston, TX – Pedestrian Killed in Crash on Highway 6 (Addicks-Howell Rd)

Houston, TX (September 8, 2020) – A crash early Tuesday morning claimed one person’s life in the Houston area. Just after 3:30 a.m., on September 8, the Houston Police Department responded to the scene of a crash on Highway 6.

Reports provided by law enforcement show that a pedestrian was traveling in the 1700 block of Highway 6 when they were struck by a vehicle near the intersection with Briar Forest Drive.

The pedestrian sustained fatal injuries in the accident. The victim was immediately declared deceased at the scene by responding officers. Crews secured the area and immediately initiated investigations into the cause of the crash. At this time, investigations are ongoing.
