Fort Worth, TX – Steven Cannon Killed in Bicycle Crash on Dottie Lynn Parkway

Fort Worth, TX (August 29, 2020) – A bicycle accident reported in the Fort Worth area claimed one person’s life and left several others seriously injured. At approximately 6:30 a.m., on August 28, the Fort Worth Police Department and Fire Department responded to the scene of a crash on Dottie Lynn Parkway.

According to reports, a group of bicyclists was traveling across the Dottie Lynn Parkway bridge over West Division Street when they were struck from behind by a vehicle.

Four riders were injured, one fatally. The injured victims were rushed to local hospitals for treatment of injuries. The fatally injured rider was later identified as 57-year-old Steven Cannon.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
