Marlin, TX – Teen Injured in County Rd 116 (Country Club Rd) Crash

Marlin, TX (August 28, 2020) – A crash reported on Wednesday morning left one Falls County teen seriously injured. At approximately 7 a.m., on August 26, the Texas Department of Public Safety responded to the scene of a crash on County Road 116.

Reports provided by DPS show that a teenager was traveling on County Road 116 near Texas State Highway 6 in a Chevrolet Tahoe when the vehicle was struck by a train.

The teen was critically injured in the accident. The 16-year-old victim was transported via medical helicopter to McLane's Children's Hospital in Temple with life-threatening injuries.

At this time, the crash remains under investigation with the Department of Public Safety.
