Reports provided by authorities show that a woman was traveling through the intersection of Alliance Gateway Freeway and Alta Vista Road when she was involved in a collision with a semi-truck. The woman was critically injured in the accident. The victim was rendered aid at the scene of the crash and airlifted to an area hospital. Authorities confirmed that the woman succumbed to her injuries after arriving. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
