Fort Worth, TX – One Killed in Truck Crash on TX-170 (Alliance Gateway Fwy)

Fort Worth, TX (August 13, 2020) – An automobile accident reported on Wednesday claimed one victim’s life in the Fort Worth area. Just after 10:30 p.m., on August 12, the Fort Worth Police and Fire Departments, along with MedStar, responded to the scene of a collision on the Alliance Gateway Freeway (Texas State Highway 170).

Reports provided by authorities show that a woman was traveling through the intersection of Alliance Gateway Freeway and Alta Vista Road when she was involved in a collision with a semi-truck. The woman was critically injured in the accident. The victim was rendered aid at the scene of the crash and airlifted to an area hospital. Authorities confirmed that the woman succumbed to her injuries after arriving. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
