McLean, TX – Allan Dvorak Struck & Killed by Truck on I-40

McLean, TX (August 12, 2020) – An automobile accident reported on Monday afternoon claimed one victim’s life in Gray County. Just after 3:30 p.m., on August 10, the Texas Department of Public Safety responded to the scene of a crash on Interstate 40.

Reports provided by local news sources show 60-year-old Allan Dvorak working in construction along the Interstate just one mile east of McLean. As the man was standing on the shoulder of the highway, he was struck by a semi-truck. Dvorak was fatally injured in the accident and pronounced dead at the scene. At this time, the circumstances surrounding the accident are under investigation.
