Reports from the Dallas Police Department show that a 32-year-old male pedestrian was walking across West Illinois Avenue at the intersection with South Hampton Road, in a designated crossing area, when he was struck by an eastbound vehicle. The man was fatally injured in the accident and declared deceased at the scene. At this time, the DPD is investigating to determine the cause of the crash.
