Seabrook, TX – Two Workers Seriously Burned on Cottage Cove Ct

Seabrook, TX (June 24, 2020) – On June 22, firefighters responded to the scene of a fire incident on Cottage Cove Court. Reports from the Seabrook Fire Department show that four people were inside a home on Cottage Cove Court in the Mystic Village subdivision, including two contractors, when an explosion occurred.

The explosion caused several windows in the home to shatter as flames shot out of the home. Crews responded to the scene to battle the blaze and take control of the fire. Two contractors were seriously injured in this incident. One ran out of the home and jumped in a pool to alleviate their injuries. Both contractors were flown to Memorial Hermann Hospital for treatment. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
