Reports show that 26-year-old Aldamion Riles was traveling north along the freeway, impaired, in a grey Dodge Challenger, when his vehicle crashed into a Jeep near the area of Centerville Road. After the initial collision, the Challenger went forward and struck a pedestrian in the shoulder of the road.
The pedestrian sustained fatal injuries in the accident and was declared deceased at the scene. Riles was subsequently arrested and charged with intoxication manslaughter. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
