At around 9 a.m., on June 2, an 18-wheeler ran a red light at the intersection of Ronald Reagan Boulevard and West State Highway 29. As the vehicle entered into the intersection, it collided with a pickup truck.
The 39-year-old male driver of the pickup truck suffered fatal injuries in the crash and was declared deceased at the scene.
The 44-year-old male driver of the semi-truck suffered minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
At this time, the crash remains under investigation.
