Lubbock, TX – Jason Fields Dies of Injuries from 82nd St Motorcycle Crash

Lubbock, TX (May 31, 2020) – The man injured in a motorcycle accident on Tuesday has passed away from his injuries.

At around 9:30 p.m., on May 26, authorities were called to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on 82^nd Street. Reports show that 40-year-old Jason Fields was traveling east through the 2500 block of 82^nd Street on a motorcycle when a passenger car entered into his lane, causing a collision.

Fields was seriously injured in the accident. He was rushed to University Medical Center for treatment.

Authorities confirmed that on May 30, Fields passed away from his injuries.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
