West, TX – Allen West Injured in Motorcycle Crash on I-35

West, TX (May 24, 2020) – A motorcycle accident on Saturday resulted in injuries, according to police.

At around 5 p.m., on May 23, authorities were called to the scene of an auto collision on Interstate 35. Reports show that former Congressman Allen West was traveling north along Interstate 35 on a motorcycle, alongside a second unidentified motorcyclist, when a vehicle made an unsafe lane change and crashed into the motorcycles.

West was injured in the crash and transported to a local hospital via Care Flight.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
