At around 8:30 a.m., on February 2, the New Braunfels Police Department responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Interstate 35. Reports indicate that a white vehicle and a small red sedan collided along the roadway, just before Engle Road, for unknown reasons.

One woman involved in the collision was rushed to an area hospital with serious injuries.

Police are currently investigating.
