According to reports, a 2009 Honda Accord was traveling down the roadway when the tire blew out. The driver lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a guardrail. After the initial impact, the vehicle flipped over and landed on the highway. After coming to rest, the vehicle was struck by a taco truck.
A 7-year-old female inside the vehicle was critically injured in the collision. A 26-year-old female in the vehicle was injured in the collision, as well as a male victim who was seriously injured. All three victims were rushed to area hospitals for treatment.
Unfortunately, the young child succumbed to her injuries at the hospital.
